What the scores mean.
Each STEN score is 1/2 a Standard Deviation (SD) wide, scores 5 and 6 are 1/2 a SD below and above the 50th percentile.
Likewise 4 and 7 are 1/2 a SD below and above 5 and 6., etc.
Since the assessment is a Normative instrument the results can and should be
used to compare people for a given job.
